Vision Impairment and Blindness: A Public Health Concern and Priority

The lack of visual health literacy is contributory to the pressing issue of blindness and vision impairment in many societies. It is important for us to educate the public and provide accurate information to promote vision and eye health across nations. All our contents are developed by public health and optometry professionals whose education and experience credits them to take on this role of educating the public. The information we provide is intended to inform, educate, and empower the public to make informed choices about their vision and eye health. We believe that improved health literacy will foster educated decisions, create a culture of preventive health, improve vision-related quality of life and ultimately advance health equity in eye care.

Our team members brainstorm ideas and assess their feasibility and potential benefits before undertaking a project. We hope you enjoy these projects as much as we enjoyed making them.
